Due to some extenuating circumstances I was required to sell a home in Edmonton. I am from out of province and had done some research to find a realtor which could assist me with my needs. I did interview another realtor and they were very professional in there approach when I met with them. While speaking to the owner of the property they did mention Norm as an area specialist and they indicate that they had met Norm and new of him personally. I gave Norm a call and he immediately new the home and the owner. I did some additional research and there was a lot of favorable comments regarding his services. While cleaning out the home I found numerous notes pads of Norm throughout the home and even an old evaluation of the home from him around 15 years ago.I chose Norm and we came up with a strategy to sell the home, as I wasn't familiar with Edmonton's Market I needed someone with some area expertise and some experience in having some insight into the clientele that would be well suited for the area and home. We listed the home on Nov 8th and I received 5 offers that same night and I accepted one for well over the asking price. Norm took our listing the week before COVID-19 work from home. We were quiet for showings for a while, but this was more due to the market conditions in March/April. Once government re-opened for business, showings picked up and we had many showings from May 15th until we sold. Norm was a pleasure to work with, his expertise on the market shows when he talks. After interviewing several potential realtors to sell our house, Norm was the obvious choice. He seemed genuinely interested in the home itself, pointing out its attributes. He came prepared, with color print-outs of all similar homes in the area that were up for sale, plus homes that had sold in the past year, along with the average days on the market, average selling price, etc. We were able to choose a selling price that day, he had his team out the next day to photograph and measure, and it was on MLS the following day!Norm was very patient and professional, despite several challenges that arose during the process of selling our home.
